Dav-iD Very good points raised JK and I agree with your comment re Ronan O’Rahilly. TOTP (and CountDown in Aus)
were pivotal for making hits and bringing excitement to the pop music scene.

Since everything has changed with the recorded music business because of digital distribution and the closure of
record shops it now seems such a disjointed business and much more difficult to create a hit...

JK you were lucky to be making hits in the golden years of the record biz - You, Chinn & Chapman and the others
were the hit makers of the time, it was like a little pop industry where everyone were becoming millionaires out of
largely having fun making hugely popular records and appearing on TOTP.

Of course - you also were making hits before Chinnichap and I remember that incident on pirate ship Radio London
with hour they broke your first major hit "Everyone's Gone To The Moon"...

Happy Christmas Jonathan and to all here..
Pot Bellied Gerry Ooh... Baby!! It's a big old goofy world! 👓🙇

And I rose and I rose and I rose, into Gabriel's arms...
