hedda have a pal who was his road manager for awhile. His trip with Joe to Morocco to try and dry out is a very funny tale.
JK2006 In the Sixties I had a girlfriend Joan Thirkettle, a beautiful girl who went on to be a top ITN Newscaster and sadly died young. We used to go, long before the mainstream discovered him, to see Joe Cocker and his air guitar in the tiniest clubs. We were HUGE fans. A really talented singer and performer. Started our love for Sheffield.
