Martin I was given Heston Blumenthal`s book this morning as a present and I have had my nose stuck in it all day.We have eaten at the Hinds Head , his pub, but still await a table at his Michellin starred Fat Duck restuarant at Bray. I must say, my idea of him as a person changes all the time, there is no snobbery in his cookery at all, just a quest for perfection in a very eccentric manner.
And deeply refreshing to have a new gimmick as a non swearing tv chef. I havent caught any of the new TV series yet, I do hope it`s as entertaining as the book would suggest.
