hedda I disagree with Dershowitz on his Israeli politics but on everything else he has extremely intelligent views.

He's a pillar of the legal establishment, a Harvard Law professor. He simply cannot allow these charges to linger.

The US 'establishment' isn't as pussy footed as the British legal establishment allowing themselves to be bullied by dimwits like MWT or the Daily Mail.
corevalue Dershowitz is one of the few to speak up against the feminist ideal of the "woman must be believed". I almost wonder if the whole charade is designed to disgrace him...

JK2006 Interesting comment Hedda and you may be right. The different American attitude to celebrities and false allegations is fascinating - Michael Jackson being the obvious example; but OJ Simpson too. Wonder how the Bill Cosby case will shape up. And how many other celebs will now face a Yewtree type avalanche.
hedda Dershowitz could be the one who brings this House Of Cards tumbling down if he pursues it through to the bitter end.

I think he will. He's not a man to let accusations linger. He will want victory no matter what it takes.
