very interesting watching the Select Committee chaired by smarmy lightweight Keith Vaz as he tries to put down Ben Emmerson QC who was having none it from this pompous twit.

Vaz prattles on about the "2 survivors" on the panel as though they are beyond criticism when one clearly has been stirring up trouble in breach of her contract.

This shows how the "survivor" industry is out of control as most are the greatest foot stampers around.

One of the panel is a woman who had her children removed by the council..why on earth is she there? Has it been proved they were removed wrongly ? No. So already we have someone who will be biased against social workers.

The other is a survivor who has just published a book condemning half the institutions to be looked at.How can he be impartial?

May must have not realised that putting survivors on a panel was always going to end in tears.

She should have set up a Royal Commission which needs minds like Emmerson QC to get through one day let alone the years it will take.

## the current Royal Commission in Australia has now been going for less than a year, has revealed very little not already known and is expected to cost nearly £200M by mid 2016.

What will this UK Inquiry cost?..4 or 5 times that at least..

so much for UK social services which are collapsing because of underfunding.
