And if anyone knew about beauty it was MichelAngelo! One of the reasons I adore his work is that he clearly understood the beauty of the human body. No, there IS an Italian version of Kenneth, I just can't remember it. |

I agree that if it is someone's name it is nice to pronounce it correctly, but those who insist on the "proper" pronunciation for everything foreign tend to come across as wassocks. |

I do not know - except that his contemporary, da Vinci, was much more accomplished in so many sectors of that fascinating era. Although MA was also a poet.
A period when artists were astronomers, scientists, navigators - as well as businessmen, clerics and politicians.
Who often married into royalty...
