JK2006 A very good show (the girl explaining the historical aspects was particularly good; I loved her "eavesdroppers" explanation). All part of the Wolf Hall element (which I thoroughly approve of).

My bit about Thomas More vs Cromwell in the novels - please remember these are NOVELS, neither pretending nor claiming to be factually correct. But the More/Cromwell aspect is brilliant (and I loved it). I was even able to question Mantel about it during our 20 minutes next to each other, queuing for our seats last Spring.

More in A Man For All Seasons (one of my favourite movies with, for me, the greatest acting scene ever between Hiller and Scolfield) vs Mantel's version in Wolf Hall and Bring Up - wonderful, brilliant, please read the books (where is No3 Hilary?).
