Topic History of: A Garden Roller and a dog, that`s more than lucky!

Mart In this wet winter of ours, the dog has destroyed the lawn chasing squrrells.
The solution to this problem is to buy a garden roller, which are not as easy as one might think to find, most of the ones you can buy are too light, pick up only, or a hideous contemporary green colour.
In a particularly manic moment , in darkness last night, whilst chasing a tailed rodent, the dog jumped the fence and landed in the woodland behind the house, causing much panic and torch finding late into the night.
We eventually found her, quaking under the torch light and attached her lead.
Whilst avoiding brambles and holly, the spooky sight of a one and a half ton garden roller appeared, which somebody had dumped.
We pushed it the whole half a mile home, making the most ghastly racket when we finally got to the pavement.
I`ve just oiled it up, and there is nothing wrong with it at all.
Do I believe the dog was fetching it for me?
Nah! I`m not completely bonkers!
