The Cat I've looked and looked but still fail to find anything resembling a personality in Paul Merton. However, I did love his series on the old Silent Clowns on BBC4. Last night was Harold Lloyd. After many years some of the oldies are still more entertaining than the modern stuff.

Here's to Lloyd, Chaplin, Keaton, Laurel & Hardy, etc.
