hedda	Of all the claims about historic abuse it's the ones about politicians I find to be absolute bullshit. They have bitter & fierce enemies who will do anything to bring a rival down and often those enemies are in their own party. I mean why would any secret service or Special Branch want to or need to protect fat old Cyril Smith? All pollies have a use-by date (next election)and they are easily replaced. As for Ted Heath being able to abuse boys before or after he was PM it defies logic. # The infamous Nick from Op Midland and the rapists in jail accusing Heath etc demonstrate their shocking ignorance of the world of politics and by doing so basically show themselves to be frauds as they did by claiming Harvey Proctor was involved with Heath. As Proctor himself said, he & Heath loathed each other and this is a fact : I've known quite a few closeted queens like Heath (maybe he was active..maybe not) but they run a mile from the Proctors of the world who are so obviously openly gay even if they are not out of the closet. ## I went to a few parties Norman St John-Stevas held- one in the Houses of Parliament for the Village People..what a hoot...he was my type of Tory. But he was tolerated because he was flamboyant and the majority of colleagues accepted him as a sort-of British eccentric (who also had the same lover his entire life so no scandal) but Proctor (and so many others) who dallied with the panthers would have horrified the Heaths of the world.
