JK2006 Well spotted Jo because this is an area I have considered for some time; no, accusers are NOT given anonymity against being charged or involved in other cases. Example - Danny Day who lost his anonymity when he tried to sue the council. Likewise if someone is prosecuted or sued for blackmail or theft or murder or fraud or conspiracy to pervert or wasting police time. They can of course be named (and shamed). I think this is a loophole not yet used. I very nearly decided to use it myself and would have done if I had sued my false accusers from my second trial (in which I was acquitted). I was only inches away from doing that. Of course many false accusers of celebrities are delighted to bravely waive their anonymity in return for large media fees.
Jo "54-year-old Francesco Parisi saw charges against him dropped earlier this month after police found no evidence to support the assault allegations, which were made by Parisi’s 55-year-old ex girlfriend."

Don't accusers get anonymity for life in the USA? Perhaps anonymity would prevent a lawsuit in the UK, even against aiders and abettors if that would blow the accuser's cover.
JK2006 until now (almost every Fleet Street person - as they used to be called in the good old days - visits this site several times a day) - here is a story from America that we predict will grow and grow and grow.

Soon it won't just be false accusers but those who assist them for various reasons.
