Theres a brilliant article written by Tom Robinson in the Guardian today about this matter.
It also is a great re-iteration to young bands to remember that your record company is akin to your bank.

Alas, it is common practise for albums and DVDs to be released without the performers' knowledge. This happened to me, although my main concerns were of being renumerated for the release, which I was only after the intervention of the MU. Shame on you, Eagle Vision. |

I`m quite happy with my Made In Japan one and do not require another purple album really.
Perhaps thats how Gillan feels. |

Ian Gillan said the album, recorded in Birmingham and titled NEC 1993, was one of their worst ever concerts and it had been re-released without his knowledge.

Surprised it's been withdrawn - doesn't look like hype, if it is awful why would they? Unless DP have a tour coming up or something.
