MWTW Defend Britain and stop starting wars in far off lands.
Since taking out these rulers all hell has let loose in all those countries.

I'm on an old person rant today

indeed and you are exactly right and defense professionals have been saying for years now that cyber security is the new War Field.

But I've come to the conclusion that not only are most politicians utter morons, the general public has been so dumbed down they are actually a danger to themselves.

Not one Brexit moron and it seems neither have the UK media (nothing new there) has yet twigged to the fact that the odious Nigel Farage (who one day will be called The Man Who Broke Britain's Heart) and his backer Arron Banks used the same cyber company to target referendum voters as was used by the Trump campaign..and that company is largely owned by Russian oligarchs.

Both instances of illegality in both countries and the authorities are ham fisted and caught like deer in the headlights.

Still you got back your "sovereignty" (whatever the fuck that is).

JK2006 I think we have, as a country, failed to modernise. At huge expense we have retained or boosted old weapons like cannons, horses and chain mail in an era where such things are no longer necessary for this island state. We are in the era where nerve gases and technological attacks have replaced bombs and armies. Forget submarines and nuclear war heads. So last century darling. Spend the money on more modern defence. Trident is never going to stop a mad knife man on Westminster Bridge.
