JK2006 MONK returned after three weeks off air (why? because the BBC2 controller does not respect it) and was as good as ever... clever, well written, beautifully acted, original...

Someone please explain why this isn't prime time weekly.

What other show could have as the final line (when Monk doesn't want his photo taken) - "No flash... retinal scarring"?

I actually burst out laughing.
