Met Hammond today when he visited Derbyshire - its clear they are targeting staunch Labour areas (today he was in Clay Cross - slum hole of the Earth ! - and the place where previous Labour Councils caused mayhem by staging a "rent strike" resulting in bankruptcy for the local Council and people).
Google Clay Cross Rent Strike ... to read what mayhem these Marxists cause. |

Not at all and suspect we wouldn't get one. I think Corbyn has adapted and learned. |

And a delicious war of words with Green (?) - in which the main point was - water paid 18 billion to shareholders (and Directors like Green) - Labour would put that 18 billion back into society. Simplistic I suspect; but very persuasive.
Makes you wonder how every nationalised industry LOST money doesn't it? |

God knows whether Labour's economic model would work; it didn't in the past but then, often, neither did the Tories - though I always felt Ken Clarke was the best Chancellor in the 80s. Economically I approved of that decade but, then, I would say that (did very well then). But I have no doubt that May would be a disaster as PM and suspect Corbyn would be pretty good, as I think more and more members of the public are deciding, every time they see or hear him. |
