Spee My understanding is that this is a very complicated and fraught transaction - in that the club doesn't own the ground.

This - and surrounding land, including the car park - is owned by third parties, including former owners and executives.

Also, the land has significant development potential. However, a number of prominent clubs are just tenants in their grounds.

Not least West Ham...
