JK2006 Example...
JK2006 I was a bit nervous going - after all, can you imagine all that stuff unloaded in there, bags of earth and so on - but then decided any awful act would have been planned for when the Royals visited. I've never been before - always watched it on TV. So I headed over and it was a lovely afternoon. Surprised by how tiny the gardens are; on TV they look big, in fact they are miniature. Amused by how much makeup the TV presenters were wearing; sitting in that horrid concrete block garden that just won Gold (why?). And so many elderly, so many wheel chairs, so many disabled and I have never seen so many hearing aids (including myself). Instead of beer they serve Pimms on tap. Check out the photos. Walked back through the park; lovely day; funnily enough almost more impressed by the park today (really natural and big).
