The Tories are clearly trying to make political capital out of the Manchester attack, which seems pretty low, but Jeremy Corbyn doesn't help himself in that video.
"I was in Parliament at the time, I heard the attack go off... The bombing campaign was completely wrong because it was taking civilian lives and there had to be a process that dealt with the basis of it in Northern Ireland."
As everyone knows, a lot of the lives lost were British soldiers. I recall a fellow student at university from Northern Ireland expressing the view that British soldiers in NI were "legitimate targets" for the IRA. Jeremy Corbyn's singling out of civilians comes uncomfortably close to that.
