Randall I think I posted recently about some police forces going along in cahoots with these kinds of vigilante entrapments.

If the police run such an operation themselves, they are on legal thin ice. However, piggybacking on the rather disturbing hobby of some dodgy characters creates a stream of easy nicks. And the process by which the "crime" was created is not restricted by case law about entrapment.
MWTW So again someone has created a profile on an over 18s dating site then changed their age to under 18 to entrap, is it just me or do I see this as wrong and allowing someone to engage with a person of legal age only to find out at a later date after the barriers are down they say they are 15 or such.

So let's say you jump on the number 19 bus to kentish town but while on the bus the number changes to 15 and you end up in Wandsworth?

MWTW Yes an Essex police officer has been arrested after talking to an under 16 year old and arranging to meet a child after sexual grooming.
Unlike others who are not police officers caught by a sting they are not naming him.
