I was under the impression that the same pain relief, if needed was available at home. Is this not the case?

Morphine ?
You want him to continue on morphine just to placate the parents?

The ventilator - which is keeping him alive - will not fit through the front door!

Just how many operations could have been carried out with the money that this pair has cost us?

If he is in pain, and morphine eases it until he dies, yes. Why not?

The door thing baffles me completely. A court order cant make the door bigger, can it?
I dont know why they didnt compromise by accepting the offer of the hospice?

How are they going to get him on a plane with life support machine etc without risks ?

GOSH have done wonders over the years and imagine what these Charlie supporters will do if the hospital threatened closure. Will the staff still get death threats?

But the media talks about "allowing Charlie to die in the comfort of his own home". Better story than "die in agony without the medical facilities needed". I really worry about the morals of the media.
