JK2006 Toothless isn't the word Zoo; last time they failed to throw out my complaint but would not condemn the News of the World either which, according to their Press Code, scarcely meant the paper was totally beyond fault.

But small pebbles cause big ripples. I gather my last complaint created serious problems which eventually led to firings right up to the very top, for different reasons but provoked by my submission.
zooloo Aren't the press complaints people a bit toothless?

Good luck with the appeal anyway. It is good that some people will stand in the face of opposition, especially when success means tiny print apology on page 94.
Mart I can`t see anything wrong with writing a song about a subject.

People need to understand that not every work is auto-biographical.

Case in point, contrary to popular belief, in this instance, the Beatles actually did not actually live in a yellow submarine.

PERVERT KING IN HITLER RANT

(Please add the clause you believe to have been breached)

1) ACCURACY

The item was a NEWS story stating that I "accused society of demonising paedophiles". This is arrant nonsense, as can be seen from the lyrics to the song and video referred to in the item.

If this had been a review they would have had every right to express their qualified opinion. But since it was a news story on Page 16, it clearly breaches the accuracy clause. It is WRONG and was either caused by stupidity or malicious intent.

The lyric - as enclosed - is about Satan proclaiming that, by destroying affection, he will destroy the human race.

At no point does it state or imply that society demonises paedophiles.

Conjecture has clearly been stated as fact by the paper.

Given my history with the NEWS OF THE WORLD, this is a clear attempt to damage sales of my music and possibly to provoke damage to myself. It is precisely the kind of journalism that needs to be censored under the code.
