In The Know yet another Labour MP in trouble ....

Spee32HR So easy (for ITK) to cherry-pick Labour deficiencies - but very hard, for him, to even mention Tory disasters.

Twenty-five years ago the Major government was forced to leave the ERM, at enormous cost to the nation.

Incidentally Major was advised, inter alia, by a young David Cameron - and the totally inept Norman Lamont.

Unable to combat speculators, like George Soros - who made billions selling sterling he didn't own - the BoE sold 40% of it's foreign reserves.

And bought more sterling in one day, than had ever been bought before - or has been since.

Base rate hit 15%!

Great to have in a crisis - those Tory chaps...

andrew Newsnight is dead ITK.
ITV's After the News beats BBC's Newsnight in ratings

Even The Guardian have not allowed readers to comment.

Must not bad mouth BBC to The Guardian must we ?

yes ...

for the many - not the few .... LOL !

remember the Loonies' slogan ?

I suspect its the few lining their pockets at the expense of the many !
(and when they have driven the country to the verge of bankruptcy - as they did in 2010 - the Tories will have to rescue us again).

btw - anyone notice that the NUM membership (in Northumberland was down to just 10 ! The area that once had slagheaps on every street corner - absolutely decimated .... thats what the Unions have done for you - except the "leaders" (of course) - they all became Labour MPs !!!!
JK2006 Again, oddly, I've always had pretty good experiences on Rail (except once - from Liverpool! On Virgin).
But in the sex allegations area, I bet there are as many convicted accountants as soccer coaches - but it's less good media.
