JK2006 Who would be Chancellor during this insane period where the bonkers British public have decided they know all about finances and the economy and when it all goes wrong the Chancellor will inevitably get blamed? By saying Brexit will be a disaster I'm sure it is not a huge problem; it will simply make life more difficult and less nationally prosperous. It doesn't really matter to me - I'll be dead before Britain becomes a second rate country (which we've managed to become in sport and in music during my lifetime). Future generations will almost certainly reverse Brexit (probably unofficially; by establishing similar agreements to Norway and Switzerland, who exist OK). And Hammond will go down in history as one of the worst Chancellors when he's no worse than many others.
