In The Know
Jeremy Corbyn now faces accusations of hypocrisy after his party’s role in the tax haven scheme was revealed to the tune of more than £12million.
The news comes as a host of big names were caught up in the Paradise Papers tax avoidance.
Merseyside’s Labour-run Sefton council purchased the £32.5million New Strand shopping centre through a company based in and registered in Luxembourg, allowing them to avoid £1.6million in stamp duty.
I have no problem with anyone, any council, political party or businessman putting money where it will earn the best return.
Labour's problem has always been it's hypocrisy which is right across the board in almost everything it does.
The Loonies are always whining on about "more money for scroungers" / "more money for the NHS" etc etc - then are "stealing" huge sums from the Treasury which COULD have been invested.
Its all just like leaving the till empty when they last left office (with a silly note - AND a huge pile of DEBTS)
