JK2006 Yesterday I went down to Chichester to see Quiz - the play by James Graham based on my friend Bob Woffinden's book about the "coughing" Major. It is brilliant. The entire cast is superb, many playing several totally different parts (Sarah Woodward as a QC and also brilliantly as Hilda Ogden for example). Gavin Spokes is incredible as Major Charles Ingram. Probably both those will win BAFTAs. Definite Best Play of 2017 (he wrote INK too). Keir Charles is fantastic too as Chris Tarrant and others. But the ensemble is stunning. And the great joy for me is how huge an influence Bob's book was; my case is one of the ten worst miscarriages of justice in his latest book The Nicholas Cases.
