wyot I would suggest as politely as possible that Mrs May is a hypocrite with no substance. she is in this "position" because after rightly voting remain she has put her personal ambitions above all else and now has to "lead" brexit. No amount of sophistry about "democracy" can lessen this tawdry display. What else can she "use" but platitudes?
In The Know They can't, JK

- they have to support their Union owners by stopping immigration (so Union members get overpaid jobs - despite no talent or ability)

- They have to "feed" their mentally unstable followers by pretending that wheelbarrows full of cash will come flooding in if we quit the EU !

- They have to appease the ones who voted for them last time, by NOT switching sides now.

- besides all of the above, Corbyn still hasn;t decided which side of the fence he is on yet !!!!!

Now people can see what an incredibly difficult job Mrs May has - doing what the electorate demanded,
even though she knows they were stupid to make that "decision"
("decision" implies they had the brain capacity to balance two sides of a debate and make a choice ....lol !)
PaulB Even if they did, some Labour MPs support Brexit and vote accordingly.
Even Corbyn does not to defy the will of the majority, many of whom live in strong Labour areas. He knows tat his best chance of power has gone.
JK2006 adopt the anti Brexit position NOW. Demand we scrap Brexit (either a second referendum or a General Election with Labour pledging to abandon Brexit if elected to form a coalition with Lib Dems). This must happen next week.
