Spee Nottingham and Liverpool prisons have major problems - due largely to 25% overall budget cuts between 2010/11 and 2014/15.

A further £600 million is being shaved off over the next two years - and many units are powderkegs, with staff disgruntled and overworked.

There is growing anger amongst inmates - many of whom often don't get their exersise breaks.

Victorian prisons are worst - hardly changed since opened. Like Pentonville and the Scrubs.


JK2006 Prison reform urgently needed.
