md I get the impression the reason why judges and prosecutors use such emotionally-charged language and descriptions such as Devil Incarnate, Child Catcher and Child Molester on an Industrial Scale is to impress deeply in the minds of jurors and the public, as well as convince themselves, that the defendent is guilty beyond reasonable doubt and that justice has been done when the evidence has been weak or non-existent. As far as I can make out, the only solid evidence presented in the Bennell trial involved compensation claims of three of the accusers. Most, if not all, of the remaining "evidence" seemed to be personal accounts and stories. How can anyone really tell if a story is true or false?
JK2006 Thank God Britain's judges are not just Guardians of Justice but of our social morality and religions too. God forbid any Atheists come in front of him.
