I agree. The contrast between the civilized behaviour of the Iranians and the barbaric treatment of prisoners by the West cannot have been greater.
No concentration camps - no orange jump-suits, and certainly no mistreatment and abuse.
Whether this was deliberate or accidental does not matter. The look on B-Liar's face when he (eventually) came out in Downing Street was amazing ! He clearly looked shaken and hadn't the faintest idea what was going on (and a press reporter later said that Downing Street had watched events unfold on TV just as everyone else had !).
Perhaps the Iranians plan to let the sailors get home and then send in secret kidnap squads to "render" them to a secret prison somewhere? I doubt it.
Bush & Blair were out-witted, out-manoevred and out-smarted ... which just proves what simpletons they are. |

Call that humiliation? No hoods. No electric shocks. No beatings. These Iranians clearly are a very uncivilised bunch
I share the outrage expressed in the British press over the treatment of our naval personnel accused by Iran of illegally entering their waters. It is a disgrace. We would never dream of treating captives like this - allowing them to smoke cigarettes, for example, even though it has been proven that smoking kills.
And as for compelling poor servicewoman Faye Turney to wear a black headscarf, and then allowing the picture to be posted around the world - have the Iranians no concept of civilised behavior? For God |

Iran is releasing the UK sailors ....
despite us ...
not declaring war on them,
or invading their country,
or sending in the SAS,
or nuking them,
or firing cruise missiles at them,
or bombing their cities,
or sinking their ships,
or starting sanctions,
or getting the UN involved,
or getting the US involved
and without anyone being hurt or dying?
Diplomacy works (someone tell Hans Blix - quick !) |
