JK2006 Too cold to go out to a movie so I watched Waterloo on BBC2 - I realised I'd never seen it before though I'm a big Rod Steiger fan. Very impressive. Amazed that 25,000 men died on each side - 50,000 dead in all. Can you imagine that these days? Although in the forthcoming religious wars, with weapons of mass destruction, I suppose it could be far worse.
