Certainly agree on Bath - only a 100 miles from London.
Aquae Sulis etc. - with Bath Abbey, Pump Room, the Roman Baths all in close proximity.
The most historic UK city. Georgian society flocked to it - and many others, going back to the Romans.
With the help of the honey-coloured stone - Bath has done, by far, the best - in seamlessly blending the old and the modern.
Other towns and cities (like Leeds, for example) should have their engineers and architects visit Bath - to learn...
