hedda QC indeed..and remember he got a reputed £55,000 "compensation".

The whole matter of compensation must be examined.
It's no longer available in Germany (but funds for psychiatric help are).
Abuse claims dropped by over 50%.

In the US Sandusky case claimants received over $3Million each prompting his adopted son who had been supporting the accused to suddenly recall his own abuse (and was compensated).

In Australia agitators (many who irrationally hate the Catholic Church) are demanding claimants receive far more than the $100,000 a Royal Commission recommended...and these claimants have never had to prove their claims..just accuse).
# I know one who made a claim (now deceased) who said his claim was false but the priest he accused was already jailed so "why not?")

Meanwhile the head Catholic Cardinal George Pell who set up a generous compensation scheme where proof or a police report was not needed is currently facing court on whether a case goes ahead on alleged abuse (and the charges seem very very dodgy)
# and similar to the UK Victorian Police are accused of opening a case against Pell with no accusations and basically "inviting" them.
honey!oh sugar sugar. I almost hope that the allegations against him are false, and that he is convicted.
