hedda Theresa May mislead the House.

She falsely claimed a Labour Party Home Secretary ordered the destruction of the Windrush landing cards.

The guffawing of the Tories is rather sad (*given what an important subject it is).

No 10 had to clarify May's false claim later that day with this statement:

"destruction of landing cards was an 'operational decision' by the UK Border Agency. Ie Not a decision by a Labour Home Secretary or minister".

but have the media taken notice? Of course not. Neither have the disgraceful Tory pundits who in good Nazi fashion accuse anyone with an alternative point of view as non-patriots.

This dangerous Jingoism is quite scary, Even Peter Hitchens has picked it up. Who knows what dangerous forces are being released.
JK2006 that she cannot see how it looks bad for her scoring nice political points against Labour and getting a big laugh from Tories over a subject that is very tragic for thousands. Tears for Windrush? No, giggles that Corbyn didn't know New Labour scrapped landing cards. Callous, incompetent, heartless? Many will feel Jeremy was spot on. May, as with Grenfell, not only doesn't care but cannot even get faking it right.
