Nearly 50 years old and the jokes are still relevant.

ITK, I know you like to support the Conservatives come what May (Ha!) and I very much admire your loyalty, but I dont see how somebody decent (and I know you are) can possibly think this is ok.
I think you (we) need to make a stand against policies like this otherwise they will never get elected again. (despite all Corbyn's help!)

I agree entirely.

Its shocking that we invite people to come to this country - to keep our infastructure going, because the locals won;t do the work - and then treat them like this. Will then do the same to NHS staff in a few years time?

Thats why its important to realise that it was under a Labour government that these decisions were made.

Yes, Minister was very funny (tended to show the Minister as a bit of a buffoon who was actually "controlled" by the civil servants behind him).

The decision had already been taken - by Labour Ministers in 2009.

Have you never watched Yes, Minister?

Well, it apparently didnt need any involvement from government, but it could have been stopped by the Conservatives if they had been on the ball, so both are responsible.

I dont actually think it is anybody's fault. Nobody in their wildest nightmares would imagine that people who had been here fifty or seventy years would be required to prove citizenship.

Both Corbyn and May come across as childish, blaming each other, and Theresa May has been exposed as a monster, I'm afraid.
I am disgusted by her "deport first and then let them appeal" stance.
