Luc Besson under investigation over rape allegation
French director denies ‘fantasist accusations’ that he drugged and raped woman

# I've come to believe the French system is superior with police gathering evidence and then basically a Magistrate doing the investigation. As judges they are not under the pressure to "produce results" like British police are.

Is it significant that French prosecutions for 'rape" etc are less than half that they are in the UK?
