That's a very good point and seems very possible. There was apparently another Malian hero in France in 2015.

"Gassama's story instantly drew comparisons with that of another Malian migrant who was feted as a hero, and given citizenship, for helping save lives during a January 2015 terror attack.

Lassana Bathily helped hide hostages in the freezer during an Islamist jihadi attack on a Jewish supermarket, in which four people were killed."

JK2006 If we encourage people whose immediate instincts are the same as this young man, we may yet, as a species, survive.
JK2006 It really is exactly the story we need - aren't we all now in love with the young man who saved the child? Not just Paris; not just France; the entire world. This is the way we should all be behaving. Gassama is our hero. Given citizenship. Given a job. Make him Pope!
JK2006 You're right Honey; brilliant story; great video; just what we need as a species (and further support for my Open All Borders crusade).
