You've met everyone, hedda! He seems to be a bit of a ladies' man (or want to portray himself as such - do you think he's overcompensating?!) judging from this effort by The Independent as it jumps on the bandwagon of outrage:
I met Morgan Freeman in Asia via some friends and spent several hours with him as they kindly invited me to lunch.
He was charming and clever and to be truthful, I really thought he was gay !
# I still hark back to the magazine interview with Jack Nicholson from over 20 years ago when he said he got sick of the endless false paternity claims which he always just paid off as it was cheaper than legal fees.
But DNA testing put paid to that.. paternity suits against celebrities are now very rare and genuine ones (99%) are quietly settled.
So much easier to say he groped me in the lift !

Allegations apparently sparked by a CNN journalist accusing him of inappropriate behaviour, then going looking for other accusers.
One of the offending remarks is shown in the video at the top of the article at around 4 mins 25 secs.
Some interesting comments under the article on Facebook from Ch ristopher T. Sadler and K eri Wilson, who say they worked with Freeman: the former claiming that the CNN journalist was phoning all and sundry fishing for claims and the latter that Freeman was a gem. facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=101583...=5550296508&_rdr
And…. guess which lawyer is being approached by accusers.
