Anonymous Interesting account of this:
barthsnotes.com/2018/09/17/investigation...-how-he-broke-phone/

While I cast no aspersions on Veale I wonder what would happen if the police accused me of something then when it came to court I tried to explain how important evidence on my phone got destroyed with 2 separate stories. I can just imagine the roasting I would get from the prosecutor if I tried to explain my way out of that and then still try to convince the court I was telling the truth about everything else! But I am sure Veale is a far more upstanding and convincing person than I.
JK2006 Veale on truth-I lied; amazing how these days police are happy to admit they often lie. Chief Constable of Surrey Police Ephgrave brazenly admitted in a letter to my lawyer that a cop lying on oath to a Judge was OK as the warrant would have been granted anyway. No problem then.
