She was anti-Brexit, and openly so.
When later inheriting a c4% majority (from us, the electorate) in favour of Brexit - this dignified lady had few options.
A view surprisingly also held by Tony Blair, on Marr this morning.
TB admires the way she goes about her job, and her hard work.
PMs have to carry out the directives of the electorate, and that precisely is what she's doing.
Otherwise, maybe referendums should be banned...

She had the option Barney of not standing for pm knowing she would have to drive through what she didnt believe in
Did Thatcher want to go to the Falklands
Did Churchill not want the NHS

Everyday now...there's critical decisions

She was looking very haggard on the news today. More than usual. |

She has the option daily to not patronise us with sound-bites and cliche..
If she had dignity she would follow her principles and show leadership from the back benches and campaign to reverse the rot..
But then she wouldnt have got to be pm...which it seems is an end in itself.. |
