JK2006 At last I've seen this and I have to say I thought it was nowhere near as good as everyone says; I think they've fallen for MeToo meets Black & White Art. The power and problems of women (albeit in 1970) and the "style" (always over rated) of black and white. But some great moments (the "birth" sequence is absolutely stunning) and the girl playing the lead is terrific. A very good film but not a great one. So far my favourites have been Stan and Ollie (not even in Oscar contention - why not?) and Bohemian Rhapsody - Malek playing Mercury MUST be Best Actor.
