Queenie Leavis I think, judging by your own strangely-articulated post, you're right.
Barney Many students know their teachers/tutors/lecturers etc. - at
uni.

In mainly the prestigious ones.

Obviously, these learned influencers have to pass on their knowledge - and expert opinions, to merit their existence

Other centres of education though - pass on the results of papers to accredited and independent bodies.


These have no idea where the paper came from - college or individual; so anonymity is clear. Simply they look at quality and pedigree of the paper(s).



Education also needs a good look...
