I think he is a twerp with short man syndrome. Someone I know had a big dispute with him over a bill. He is only a bully until someone squares up to him, then he trembles.

He is right on May that she can't keep bringing in the same deal and expect a different result. That be like the second referendum...keep voting until it's the vote you want.

The speaker is meant to be impartial....those on here who celebrate his bias are also the first on here to complain when the same lack of democracy elsewhere in society leads to abuse of power used against them.

Bercow is only still there because he is a useful tool for those who want to abuse our democracy...even war criminals are suitable, providing they turn a blind eye to things you want to avoid...

....'bollocks to Brexit'....no wonder those on the other side of the channel who dislike our democracy like him....

I agree. Bercow may have used his powers impartially, but the expression on his face said different.

Don't agree - May was an appalling Home Secretary too; she is literally a good secretary, doing as she's told, instead of a CEO who has to think and adapt.

I thought she was a decent Home Secretary, I would not be surprised if UKIP caused a storm.

Farage was a waste of time and would make a good salesman.

Over 17.5 million people voted to leave and told the EU to "Fuck off".

At least on this we can agree...very little talent on either side of the house.

Odd. I thought virtually everyone on both sides thought May's ghastly "deal" was worse than either No Deal or Remain. That's why so many voted against it twice.

Again Doctor King you are missing the point.
He has bias, when it suited him he changed the rules, now it does not he is using precedence....forcing more votes just makes May look stupid....another idiot who supported us joining the euro currency 20 years ago....the brexit supporting parties have gone from 1 to 10% of the vote recently...idiots like him are leading to a rise in extremism....
