hedda There are always faults at Lucas Heights and many allegedly they don' tell us about.

Was always odd why they built the only Reactor in a city suburb albeit on the edge when there 's so much land .

There are still places in the desert that are radioactive after the British did their tests there decades ago.

Apparently they sent out one Patrol officer to warn the Aboriginals they should flee before the bombs went off...he had to cover an area larger than the UK.

Lucas Heights nuclear medical facility should be replaced owing to safety concerns – report
md There were fires near this facility last year. How many nuclear incidents or potential threats to nuclear facilities around the world do we not hear a word about?

Lucas Heights is Australia's only nuclear reactor.

Quite new, and - much more importantly (you forgot to mention, Hedda) - it has other uses than the provision of power.

Almost unique in that regard - it does great things to help the advancement of medical technology, particularly that relating to cancer.

Perhaps you might enlighten us on that Hedda?

Barney The UK has 15 nuclear reactors at 7 sites.

As well as about half a dozen nuclear submarines.

With - it is estimated - over 200 nuclear missiles.

Never fired, in anger, since commissioned.

Who are deeply worried that a similar
disaster could reoccur in the steadily growing - and largely inexperienced - nuclear community.

Me.
There's a huge Nuclear Reactor on the edge of Sydney called Lucas heights.

Rupert Murdcoh keeps telling his editors to push the notion renewable energy like Solar is a fraud and Nuclear is the way to go.
