Jo I've just seen a comment on Facebook about Nigel Farage which seems very apt, i.e. that he's the archetypal conman, who just needs to convince people to trust him. So it makes sense that he wouldn't want to pin himself down with a manifesto.

As for the Brexit Party's funding, he exhibits another conman trait by dodging the issue:

It's worth pointing out that no party has ever won a seat until they have won their first one.
That applies even to the major ones.
