It appears from the comments here the sentiment is the various political parties are "crap" and many of the key players are not so good either (Trying to be diplomatic!!! With great difficulty!).
I consider the only good reason to leave a party is the chance to join another party that will make a positive difference(assuming a person really wants what's best for themselves and all their fellow citizens, like honouring a democratic vote, housing the homeless and justice among the many just issues that need resolving).
Otherwise the reality is to reform from within or start a new endeavour. Of course personal issues, exhaustion and such can be a good reason as well. But often the reasons given are basically nonsense and indicate for those of us wanting positive change a chance that another useless individual has exited hippee!!!! |

I get the impression that he has left because Labour isn't going full on for a second referendum. I find it strange that someone would leave the Labour party for this reason. Labour has traditionally been anti-eu, from Tony Benn, Michael Foot, and Peter Shaw. I can't understand how people can't see that not honouring a referendum result is a betrayal of the voters, particularly since 63% of Labour constituencies voted to leave. I think that the problem isn't with Jeremy Corbyn, he isn't clamouring for a people's vote, which leave would probably win by a bigger margin, it is the likes of Tom Watson and Kier Starmer, who represnet the Metropolitan liberal elite |

Baldrick had a cunning plan...
Corbyn had a cunning plan to honour the referendum result...and is seeing his vote share halved as a result of changing it
Cable had a cunning plan...keep voting until he gets the answer he wants...and he's stuck at around 10% as a result.
May had a cunning plan...pretend to be tough...then accept the total opposite...and had seen her vote share fall by two thirds as a result.
Changeuk had a cunning plan....and their vote share quickly changed to around 3%
Farage had a cunning plan...pretend to be a one dimensional estate agent with no team or talent...and came from nowhere to 30% within 2 weeks of launch..
I enjoyed time team...loved blackadder...perhaps we should all say Wibble more often? |

Tories are a dead parrot.
Labour are a cremated parrot.
Big changes need to be made to sort British politics out but it won't be Mrs May or JC doing it both their days are numbered. |

Sir Tony Robinson quits Labour over Brexit and leadership
Actor Sir Tony Robinson, a former member of Labour's governing National Executive Committee, says he has quit the party over its current direction.
He said he was leaving after nearly 45 years because of Labour's stance on Brexit, its handling of anti-Semitism allegations and its poor leadership.
…
"I’ve left the Labour Party after nearly 45 years of service at Branch, Constituency and NEC levels, partly because of it’s continued duplicity on Brexit, partly because of it’s antisemitism, but also because its leadership is complete shit."
