Thanks for bringing this to my attention - it's a really well thought out article, and puts things into full perspective.
In The Know Caption reads "Oh look, it's my legacy !"

The Cat A peace process begun and much advanced by John Major, then continued by Mo Mowlan, neither of whom got much credit today. Blair merely came in and took the credit after the main groundwork had been done.
