Yes - and Liverpool particularly have a huge international fanbase, estimated at 700 million.
With about 30 million fans on Facebook and Twitter.
Some will never see Anfield, and are content to watch games on a variety of different devices.
The lure of the English Premier League is extraordinary; the games are shown live, in virtually every country on earth.
Consequently, the money generated attracts both foreign owners and players.
Figures in the region of £2 billion would have to be paid to buy some of the top six EPL clubs, like those in Manchester.

What this shows is that the two Remainer cities have international teams managed by foreign managers and that we are a part of Europe - a part of the world - and we can best change it by being in it and correcting from within. Sports, like music, tells the truth. |
