Stewart?
Yet another Oxbridge Etonian.
Foreign Office too - to helpfully start his career!
Installed at the FO by the usual Conservative chessmasters.
Barrel; yes, it's being scraped.
And it almost highlights - but confirms that Boris has no problem...or
possible/acceptable/reasonable adversory...

Watching Rory Stewart on Marr this morning, he seems quite intelligent and measured, although he looks quite weird, which sadly these days is more important than it should be. The last thing we need right now is a tribal conservative. |

ghastly man.. a liar and the most incompetent Mayor London has had with his ridiculous vanity projects.
Possibly an ideal candidate for PM. We can always go lower these days. |

We have now had the longest parliamentary session since the Civil War (1642-1651), which seems apt in view of the Brexit confrontations.
Tories are hemorrhaging voters to the Brexit Party, because they couldn't deliver Brexit.
And Labour are losing out to the LibDems, Greens and Change UK - because of Corbyn's lack of clarity about a second referendum.
EU is in a state of suspended disbelief - and the Tories will be humiliated at the European elections.
Our reputation and status has been damaged - as we appear incapable of governing ourselves...
