I must have blinked and missed that one hedda....some argument will always rage of course on how you rate it....but a reliable link would normally be posted to support it.

Been doing a bit of business in China myself, and its history and culture fascinate me....Confucius is a philosophy that should have been a religion...I'm off for a quick few days in Penang, before works starts further in the north.

Far from mismanaging the US economy, Trump is actually doing exactly what he is for short term gain for himself and his billionaire backers ( drain that swamp )..which means he IS mismanaging it but for real reasons.

## despite giving US farmers $Billions in Corporate Welfare because of the damage tariffs are causing..it's mainly going to a handful of wealthy corporations who then distribute it as they see fit whilst retaining $100Ms in "fees".

My late father worked on & off in China for a few years helping set up banking systems. He was amazed as he discovered a little known fact (other China watchers were always aware of)..that the entire mentality is not based on creating projects that will benefit in a few years time..it's based on fruition that may sometimes not eventuate until 100 years later.

ie: for future generations. and thus the strength with the Chinese was a dedication like no others..plus for alleged peasants, their negotiating skills were superb and always done with politeness (as Rupert Murdoch unfortunately found when they releived him of &50M as a "deposit" once on a scheme).

Former Oz PM Kevin Rudd agrees with me (he didn't seek me out to discuss this )

Trump Hands China an Easy Win in the Trade War
The president’s tough rhetoric plays into Chinese economic nationalism.
