robbiex This post is basically about something that hasn't happenned, (i.e. an allegation against Boris Johnson), so I don't see the point in the post. I wish it would happen, so we wouldn't have to put up with this moron as pm, much worse than Theresa May. He pretends to be tough, but is spineless, avoiding tv debates, scared of scrutiny, votes for May's deal at the third time of asking, after calling it terrible. The vast majority of people don't have allegations against them, and I'm pretty sure the same will be true with the honey monster, fat boris.
JK2006 Terrifying and legally supported - as I found to my cost 20 years ago. Incredibly hard to prove innocence (though I succeeded in 2018).

My feeling is that, at some time between now and mid July, a major sex scandal involving Boris Johnson will explode in the national media and not only necessarily just in the tabloids.

well no the fact is it won't be revealed and that is why Rupert Murdoch will get everything he's ever wanted during Boris' very short PMship.

I fully expect that Boris has some plan up his sleeve to decimate the BBC as one of his first acts.

I despair- Britain is stuffed. Just party and make the most of it. Once great countries can be a lot of fun int heir final days.

So, speaking in general, somebody with an agenda could threaten to reveal or make up something about someone in a powerful position unless they do what they want?

And there is no way anyone can fully protect themselves against false allegations.

Def sounds like you have "inside info" JK...No question mark 😁

Maybe. But the way I see it is that these days, anyone can stop anyone else by making false (or even true) claims.

Even if they are proven to be false, the damage is already done.
